If you're used to working with Visual Studio, the VS Code environment looks quite different. VS Code is updated regularly and, unlike the friction that comes with Visual Studio updates, VS Code updates occur in a matter of seconds!įigure 2: VS Code provides ready access to release notes for the version installed on your workstation.

It's not an exaggeration to say that most Visual Studio users only use a fraction of features (maybe 20-30%).
